De Kempenaer Advocaten and B-solutions 2.0

AEBR, in cooperation with DG REGIO, just opened a new call for proposals on 12 April 2022 under the b-solutions 2.0 initiative to tackle legal and administrative obstacles hindering cross-border cooperation along EU borders.

De Kempenaer Advocaten is pleased to share that Anton Bouwmeister and Marlene Plaß, who are acknowledged as experts in the areas of labour law and health law, have confirmed their interest to keep working with b-solutions. Anton and Marlene have already prepared four Expert Reports in the framework of the b-solutions initiative in the past and are happy to once again advise on sustainable solutions to legal and administrative obstacles hindering cross-border cooperation.

The objective of the b-solutions 2.0 initiative is to identify further cases where a legal or administrative obstacle hinders cooperation amongst border regions. Public entities and cross-border structures, located along EU internal land and maritime borders as well as along EU borders with EFTA and IPA countries, are now invited to submit their applications.

Within this present call, successful applicants will be assigned the support of experts, like Anton Bouwmeister and Marlene Plaß, who have sound knowledge of cross-border cooperation practices. Their advice will define the obstacles clearly and systematically, it will identify a possible solution and will outline the legal framework from which to proceed.

We are very happy to once again contribute to promoting sustainable solutions to cross-border obstacles of a legal and administrative nature.
